Along the old Rails
Fast song
Healing Hands
Night on the Town
Precious Time

Along the old Rails

Along the old rails in the light of spring, life tells its tales.

Muddy puddles, fallen trees,
twinkling flowers, humming bees, along the old rails...

The fading snow reveals the mossy soil,
on musty sleepers lizards coil, along the old rails...

A rush of cold wind from the tunnel's end,
leafless bushes, weather-bent, along the old rails...

Walking onward, life ahead,
pick a snowdrop, winter's dead, along the old rails...

Fast song

She just don't know what she's doing with her eyes
She just can't see how her looks can paralyze
Every motion in me
And I'm down on my knees
'Cause there are things
That she'll never understand

Someone put on a fast song
Someone make me gonna dance all night
I'm so tired of all the talking
I don't wanna find the clue
To let her shadow keep on walking
To bridge the gap between us two

I don't wanna push to keep that whole thing running
There's no need to struggle, it'll be alright
I'm fed up of being the master in a game that's meant for two
No more turning of the toggle, now it's her turn to get through

Someone put on a fast song...

And there she stands before my eyes
And the tears are trickling down her face
And I know it's me for whom she cries
And I feel no-one else could take her place

Somebody put on a love song
Let us hold each other all through the night
'Cause we've come so far together
And it's her where I need to be
They say nothing lasts forever

We're gonna show them her and me ...

Healing Hands

Do you know the feeling like speaking in tongues
Like nothing you say seems to come out right
Can you see my face behind the mirror
Tell me that you figure what I'm trying to hide

'Cause I long for some blind understanding
For agreement of the silent kind
All I need right now is the blessing
That words just can't describe

Lay your healing hands
Lay your healing hands
Lay your healing hands on me

Have you ever measured the space between two people
Who lost their transmission without knowing why
Is there a chance to get the pieces back together
Is it useless or are we just too weak to try

After all we got this far
We made our way through the dark and pain
At times I'm right behind you
But it feels like I am miles away

Lay your healing hands on me

I remember the time
I was sure that we'd always stay the same
I recall your smiling face
Before my eyes the same old way

Lay your healing hands on me...

Night on the Town

Night on the town, he wanders about
some lights in the windows, some never go out
in houses where people live day by day, a definite mission in life

A stray cat watches him stagger along
mischieveously staring, in his head still the song
that he heard in the bar where he strands day by day
an island of peace of mind

He feels sorry for himself, now he's lost it
life's too rotten for to trust it,
he kicks cans into the gutter, chases memories away
It's a long way home

A younger man he once was, a lad full of pride
what's become of the drive, where does joyfulness hide?
But if he knew he wouldn't go look for it, for he's stuck in his bitter-sweet numbness

And he feels sorry for himself now he's lost it,
all his dreams are withered and busted
his heroes have all faded while life marched on
it's a long way home (can you call it a home?)

Precious Time

I've wasted so much precious time
and I've tasted sourness sublime
It's time to end this loosers' ball
I wonder how we ever got along at all
Precious memories only few,
I've wasted so much precious time on you.

And nothing's ever good enough,
Your touch, once smooth has turned to rough
Too many flies were in the ointment
We're wailing out in disappointment
You whine and bitch about my friends
suppose under these circumstances
save a fortune, let me be
and stop wasting so much precious time on me.
